President
Led an organization of 45 staff and managed an annual operating budget of over $100,000. Set organizational priorities, represented the student body to college leadership, and oversaw campus-wide initiatives.
Graduate of Goucher College with a BA in Psychology and Political Science. Former President of the Student Government Association, congressional intern for Rep. Johnny Olszewski, and Arsht Presidential Diplomat.
That's the thread connecting Christian's double major in psychology and political science, his minor in sociology, and the work he was drawn to outside the classroom. He earned Dean's List honors every semester of his college career.
As President of the Goucher College Student Government Association, Christian led an organization of 45 staff and oversaw an annual operating budget of more than $100,000. It was the fourth role he held in SGA: he started as Director of Procurement in 2023, became Chief of Staff later that year, served as Vice President and President of the Senate in 2024–25 — drafting legislation and directing 33 senators — and was elected President in fall 2025.
In the summer of 2025, Christian served as a congressional intern in the Washington office of Rep. Johnny Olszewski, a fellow Goucher alum, where he corresponded with constituents, composed legislative memos, and attended committee hearings and briefings. He was also a 2025–26 Arsht Presidential Diplomat, hand-selected to represent Goucher alongside President Kent Devereaux in meetings with state and county officials, business partners, and members of the Board of Trustees.
Outside of academics and government, Christian has been a competitive swimmer since age eight — at Bel Air Athletic Club, Harford Technical High School, and as captain of the Goucher men's swim team, where he sprinted at the NCAA Division III level.
He is now pursuing a career in foreign affairs and legislative policy.
Led an organization of 45 staff and managed an annual operating budget of over $100,000. Set organizational priorities, represented the student body to college leadership, and oversaw campus-wide initiatives.
Managed, led, and directed 33 senators. Drafted legislation and ran the proceedings of publicly held assembly meetings.
Aide to the SGA President. Managed agendas and scheduling, and oversaw 10 cabinet members.
Planned events and procured the materials and resources required for organizational operations.
Served as student representative of the College's President. Hand-picked to join the President in meetings to negotiate with state and county politicians, business partners, and Trustees.
Spearheaded the reopening of Goucher's long-shuttered student-run gathering space — closed for nearly a decade — as a campus third space for clubs, music, and student events.
Helped lead the SGA proposal to keep Goucher's Athenaeum open around the clock — a quality-of-life win for students with late study hours, athletic schedules, and demanding course loads.
In 2013, Christian put up flyers around his elementary school: “Vote Christian 4 Student Council.” Caring. Helpful. Responsible. Intelligent. Successful. Trustworthy. Involved. Awesome. Necessary.
That same year, at the age of eight, he stepped onto the deck for his first competitive swim season and earned a 1st degree black belt.
Thirteen years later, he served as the President of his college's Student Government Association — leading an organization of 45 staff and a six-figure budget — and as captain of the Goucher men's swim team.
